How to perform a full reset of your Tweetycam monitor and camera

If you’re experiencing issues with your Tweetycam monitor or camera, performing a full reset is often the quickest way to resolve them. It's a simple process, and we’ll guide you through it step by step.

Step 1: Reset the Monitor

  1. Turn the monitor around: While the monitor is turned on, flip it over and lift the stand piece.
  2. Locate the reset button: You’ll see a small Reset button inside a hole.
  3. Press the reset button: Using a thin object like a paperclip, SIM card ejector pin, or even a pair of earrings, gently press and hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds until the monitor turns off.

Step 2: Reset the Camera

  1. Unplug the camera: Disconnect the camera from power—either at the wall or by removing the power cable from the camera itself.
  2. Wait for 5 minutes: This allows the camera to fully reset.
  3. Reconnect the power: Plug the camera back into the power source.

Step 3: Turn the monitor back on

Once both the monitor and camera have been reset, turn your monitor back on and check if the issue has been resolved.
