How to set up your Tweetydreams: Install the app and pair
Getting your Tweetydreams up and running takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through everything, from powering on your lamp to connecting it to the Smart Life app so you can control it from your phone.
Step 1: Power on your Tweetydreams
Plug the included power cable into the USB-C port at the back of your Tweetydreams, then into your wall outlet. A red indicator light at the base of the lamp will turn on, confirming it's receiving power.
To turn the lamp on, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until all the buttons flash once.
A blue indicator light at the base of the lamp will begin flashing. This means your Tweetydreams is on and ready to be set up.
Step 2: Download the Smart Life app and create an account
To control your Tweetydreams device, you'll need to download the Smart Life app. It's available for free on both iOS and Android devices:

Alternatively, you can scan the QR code included on your Tweetydreams packaging.
Once downloaded, open the app and create an account if you don't already have one.
Step 3: Set up your phone's connection to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Before pairing, make sure that the following settings are applied:

Connect your phone to your home Wi-Fi network

Enable your Bluetooth
The Smart Life app will need access to both to find your Tweetydreams.
Step 4: Put your Tweetydreams into pairing mode
Next, on your Tweetydreams lamp, press and hold the minus button and the C button at the same time for 3 seconds.
The blue indicator light at the back of the lamp will start flashing more rapidly. This means your lamp is in pairing mode and ready to connect to your phone.
Step 5: Add your Tweetydreams in the app
In the Smart Life app, tap the "+" button in the upper-right corner of the screen, then tap Add Device. If prompted, allow access to necessary data, such as location services and home data.
Your Tweetydreams should appear in the list of nearby devices. Select it.
You'll then be prompted to choose a Wi-Fi network. Select your home network, enter your password, and tap Next. The app will connect to your lamp, which may take a few seconds.
Once connected, your Tweetydreams will appear in the app, ready to use.
After pairing: getting set up in the app
Once your lamp is paired, the blue indicator light at the back will stop flashing and turn solid blue, confirming the connection is complete.
If you'd like to rename your Tweetydreams in the app, tap the pencil icon next to the device name. This is handy if you have more than one Tweetydreams lamp connected to the same account.

Frequently asked questions
My Tweetydreams isn't appearing in the app. What should I try?
Make sure your lamp is in pairing mode, with the blue indicator light flashing rapidly. If it isn't, press and hold the minus and C buttons together for 3 seconds. Also, check that your phone's Bluetooth and location services are enabled, as the app needs both to detect nearby devices.
Does my Tweetydreams need to stay connected to Wi-Fi to work?
Not at all! Once set up, your Tweetydreams will work as a standalone lamp even without a Wi-Fi connection, as it will use a Bluetooth connection in the absence of Wi-Fi. Your lamp can also be used when offline, as you can access your preset favourite themes by tapping the lamp, and you can easily choose lighting and navigate sound options from the lamp itself.
Can I connect Tweetydreams to a 5GHz Wi-Fi network?
To connect to your Tweetydreams via Wi-Fi, you will need a 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency. Note that these Wi-Fi frequencies are different from your mobile network connections, such as 3G, 4G, and 5G, which are provided by local towers.
Can more than one phone control the same Tweetydreams?
Yes! You can share access to your Tweetydreams with another phone through the Smart Life app. Both phones will need to be logged into the same Smart Life account, or you can use the app's sharing feature to add a second user.
