How to set up your Floor Stand

Setting up your Tweetycam Floor Stand is quick and easy! This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process to ensure your baby monitor is securely mounted and positioned for the best view of your little one.

What’s in the box?

Inside your Floor Stand package, you’ll find:

  • An extra-long power cable
  • A safety sleeve
  • Four stand pieces
  • A flexible piece
  • A rectangular base
  • Two small straps

Now, let’s put it all together!

Step 1: Assemble the Stand

  1. Unpack everything and remove any packaging.
  2. Locate the stand piece that does not have a threaded top—this will be the last piece you attach. Set it aside for now.
  3. Take the remaining stand pieces and screw them together one by one.
  4. You can adjust the height by using fewer pieces, but for the best setup, we recommend using all of them to get the full height.
  5. Once the main stand is assembled, grab the piece you set aside earlier and screw it onto the top.
  6. Finally, attach the flexible piece to the very top. If it doesn’t align perfectly with the base, don’t worry—just bend it gently in the other direction, and it will adjust.

Step 2: Secure the Power Cable

  1. Take the power cable and use one of the small straps (or a piece of tape) to secure the end of the cable at the top of the stand.
  2. Leave about 5 cm of cable free so you have a bit of flexibility when plugging in your camera.
  3. Now, take the safety sleeve and slide it down the stand, starting from the top and working your way to the bottom.
  4. The sleeve is designed to be extra long so you can scrunch it up for a softer look, or keep it fully straight—it’s completely up to you!

Step 3: Attach the Camera

  1. Screw your Tweetycam camera onto the flexible top of the stand.
  2. The metallic disc at the end of the stand helps support the camera and keeps it securely in place.

Step 4: Position the Stand

  1. Place your stand next to the cot, ideally against a wall for best view.
  2. The safety sleeve ensures the cable is fully covered, keeping it out of reach of your baby.
  3. If you have any extra cable, use the second strap to keep it neatly secured.
