How to set up temperature monitoring on your Tweetycam
Temperature monitoring helps you keep your baby’s sleep environment safe and comfortable. Your Tweetycam camera continuously tracks the room temperature and displays it on your monitor, so you can quickly check conditions at a glance.
You can also customise temperature alerts to notify you if the room becomes too hot or too cold, giving you peace of mind even when you are not actively watching the screen.
This guide walks you through both choosing your preferred temperature scale and setting up temperature alerts.
Part 1: Choosing Your Preferred Temperature Scale
Tweetycam allows you to display temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Here’s how:

Step 1: Open the settings menu
With both your Tweetycam monitor and camera turned on, press the Menu button on your monitor.
Using the round navigation buttons, head to Settings, represented by a gear icon. This is the last item on the left panel. Press OK to enter the settings menu.

Step 2: Select the Temperature Scale settings
Navigate to the temperature scale settings, represented by the “°C/°F” icon. This should be the first item in this menu. Press OK to enter the temperature scale options.
Step 3: Choose Celsius or Fahrenheit
Use the navigation buttons to select either Celsius or Fahrenheit, then press OK. A star icon will appear next to your selected option.
The temperature indicator in the upper-right corner of the monitor screen will immediately update to reflect the chosen scale.
Step 4: Exit the menu
Press the Menu button again to exit the settings menu. You’ve now successfully set your preferred temperature scale.

Part 2: Setting temperature alerts
Temperature alerts notify you when the room temperature goes outside your preferred range.
Step 1: Open the settings menu
With the monitor and camera turned on, press the Menu button. Using the round navigation buttons, scroll to Settings, represented by a gear icon. This is the last item on the left panel. Press OK to enter the settings menu.
Step 2: Select the Temperature Alert settings
Scroll to Temp Alert, which should be the second item in the settings menu. Press OK to enter the alert settings.
You will see two alert options:
-
Low: the lowest acceptable temperature. Anything below this will trigger your alert.
-
High: the highest acceptable temperature. Anything above this will trigger your alert.
Step 3: Set your threshold temperatures
Select either Low or High and press OK. Use the up or down navigation buttons to choose the temperature you would like to set as your threshold temperature, then press OK again to confirm your choice.
Repeat this step if you would like to set both low and high temperatures.
Step 4: Exit the menu
Press the Menu button again to exit the settings. The temperature alerts are now activated. Your Tweetycam monitor will now automatically emit alert sounds if the room temperature goes above or below your chosen thresholds.
